A blog by Clint Combs

I got a good laugh out of Russell Beatties article on "Cheers". I agree with him - we do need an American counterpart to the British "Cheers". I find myself in the same predicament that he describes. I don't always know how to sign off in an e-mail when I'm not very familiar with a person or I just don't know them at all. As he says "Thanks" doesn't always work, I'd feel a little pretentious using "Cheers", and my usual "-Clint" is too abrupt in some situations. Maybe somebody has a good suggestion...
